We are very proud to be collaborating with Nev Kilkenny, a Research Associate at the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh and a Consultant field mycologist  (to the uninitiated that’s the biology of Fungi).  Basically, what Nev doesn’t know about fungi isn’t worth knowing!

Nev is passionate about the great outdoors and combines his knowledge and experience into this amazing Bushcraft Adventure.  Time spent with Nev would be wasted if it didn’t include some foraging so expect to find some edible weeds, learn fire lighting, camp skills and campfire cooking.  At the end of the event, with your campfire lit, keep it stoked to cook your next meal.

Need to Know

Location: Woodland at Carfrae Farm.

Need to bring:  Remember to pack suitable outdoor clothing and footwear for the time of year, as well as a snack and a bottle of water.

Timing: The activity lasts for 4 hours.

Please note that children need to be supervised by an adult.
