Stockbridge Apartment

Nice flat. Good location. If you’ve got a car, parking is a bit of a problem.

A large flat with all facilities, modern and clean, so a pleasant place to stay. As others have said, the busy road location makes the main bedroom a bit noisy first thing in the morning, therefore earplugs if you’re a light sleeper!
Easy transport (or walk) into the New Town and lots of shops, restaurants in Stockbridge.

A spacious apartment in a fabulous location in beautiful Stockbridge . A very well equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms . Great communication from Trudi before and throughout our stay. Would definitely stay again.

The apartment is nice, big and clean, exactly as shown in the photos. The primary bedroom is bigger (and also the only one with a wardrobe) but noisier, while the second bedroom is quite small. The toilet is separated from the rest of the bathroom. Overall the apartment is good, although a bit pricy. The neighbourhood is wonderful and the market on Sundays it’s a must see. Also a short distance walk from Dean Village.

Great location, Stockbridge has so much to offer food wise and central Edinburgh is about a 20-30 minute walk away, be prepared for hills if you don’t walk much or you can always jump on the bus – The accommodation has everything you need for a short stay plus a Nespresso machine ?

We (two adults and two young kids) had a lovely time in this apartment. It is a cute and charming place: bright and with more space than we expected. The location is unbeatable: right in the heart of Stockbridge, just across from the Water of Leith, surrounded by countless great shops and restaurants. Within walking distance of almost anywhere you would want to go, and a convenient bus stop just around the corner if needed. (All you have to do is download the Edinburgh bus app to purchase tickets and see live bus locations/schedules.)

The master bedroom on the street side was slightly noisy during the weekday morning rush hour (e.g., occasional lorries reversing or picking up the garbage and recycling), but the back bedroom — which had a comfortable murphy bed and overlooked a nice courtyard — was perfectly fine and the unit and building as a whole were very quiet. The front bedroom also had a blackout curtain which came in handy during our summer stay.

There wasn’t a welcome kit so to speak, but everything was well stocked, including the kitchen which had outstanding modern appliances, a cozy eating area overlooking the courtyard, and quite a few oils, spices, coffee, etc. one might need. Trudi was very responsive, although note you will have to pay extra if you want an early arrival.

In short, we loved our time there and highly recommend it!

The place was amazing. We all loved the apartment and didn’t really want to leave. It had everything a university students can only dream of and more. Also, the location was perfect and had many cute shops and bars nearby.
