Queen Street Two Apartment

Trudi’s place is in a great location. Less than a 10 minute walk to the train station. The place is a nice size and good for two couples or a single family. Of note, the second bedroom is small, with the double bed taking up most of the room, but it is a still functional. There is an under cabinet fridge in the kitchen , however there is no freezer. Overall, the place was clean with a large living space and Trudi was very responsive.

Good central location, comfortably furnished, good internet connection, well equipped kitchen, including Nespresso machine with coffee capsules, very clean.

Special note: walk across the street to visit the National Portrait Gallery for an interesting exhibition and try the lunch in the cafe. Good selection and reasonably priced!!

Do be aware that ‚second floor‘ means more stairs than you might expect (43 stair steps up to the flat).

All in all, worth a visit.

The unit was lovely, convenient for working from home, and perfectly located for enjoying the city. Trudi was a great host – informative, helpful, clear, easy-going, friendly, and responsive. We appreciate her hospitality and the great stay!

We enjoyed our stay. The flat is in a great location, easy walking distance to many locations, and nearby shops and restaurants. We loved the high ceilings and light and bright rooms. Excellent communication with our host was the icing on the cake.

I rented the apartment for getting ready in for my wedding. the apartment was beautiful, the livingroom was spacious, everything was clean. The apartment was perfect for photos before leaving too with the big beautiful windows. Amazing apartment to stay in, and perfect location in the city centre.

we were 2 adults and 2 kids (6+9) the flat is in an ace location, on a corner just far enough out so its not noisy, but 2 mins and you are on princes street. few coffee shops across the street and a sainsburys a few mins away if you need your morning fare pronto. we had a couple of nights and it was great to be so close to everything. The living room in particular bears mentioning as it was actually a really spacious comfy room to chill in after a day out, looking out the massive sash windows onto the streets below. Superb value and perfect for a small family (if you dont mind some stairs) would defo return.

This is an amazing flat. It’s spacious, clean, and close to the station. We want to spend time there again.

Great apartment in a great location. Really well set up in terms of appliances, etc. Light airy main room. Bedrooms are a little small but the beds are comfy enough which is all that really matters. Very convenient in terms of accessing the east end of Princes Street, Waverley Station, the Royal Mile, etc. Host is very communicative and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

What an excellent apartment! You really can’t get a better location in the heart of Edinburgh and the apartment itself exceeded expectations. My parents, who had flown over from Australia, and I had the most wonderful time wandering the streets lounging in the evening in the delightfully furnished apartment. Will certainly stay again.

Great apartment! Had an enjoyable stay, even though we were out exploring Edinburgh most of the time! Very clean and with a lovely spacious living room and well-furnished kitchen. Very happy with host communication overall however there was some initial confusion finding the correct lockbox for the key, but only a minor issue! Always love coming to Edinburgh, such a wonderful city! Definitely recommend!

Amazing stay

Trudi’s apartment was a wonderful place to stay! It’s in a very convient location with everything you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable and feel like home. Trudi answered all questions and communicated in a timely matter. Would absolutely stay here again in Edinburgh!

We were hardly in the apartment so didn’t use it to its fullest potential. But it was a very nice and roomy apartment.

Full power in the shower and plenty with hot water :)
Perfect wi-fi.
I slept well, but my sister and brother would have preferred softer beds. Good quality pillows, blanket, sheets and towels.
I would book it again!

This apartment was gorgeous and perfect for my family’s needs. As other reviewers mentioned, be prepared to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs. However, the location and amenities make up for the unexpected workout!
