Very comfortable and good location

A fabulous, spacious and well equipped apartment in a great location for exploring the city. Our host, Trudi, was very helpful in providing information prior to our visit and the information folder in the apartment is very comprehensive too. There is a bit of road noise from outside but nothing that really bothered us. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Tip: We found affordable options for long-stay parking in the area to be very limited, so dropped our hire car off at the airport early as felt we didn’t need it whilst in the city; this turned out to be a good move as we found everything to be within very reasonable walking distance. Regular trams run direct from the airport to the city centre and the nearest stop to the apartment was around a 10 minute walk.

Beautiful apartment – 4 of us. Lots of space for us to potter in the mornings and evenings. 2 bathrooms – made life easy. Comfortable beds. Location was spot on – everything in walking distance – great eateries in immediate locality. Amazing views of castle just seconds away from apartment. Lots of useful information in folder. Generally had a n excellent weekend break. Worth the money.

Great location, everything was very easily accessible! The apartment is impressive and spacious, we had a great stay.

We loved Edinburgh and our stay at Trudi’s apartment was an added pleasure to our trip. We especially loved the grandeur of the rooms..all of the spaces were spacious and full of light from the large windows. We felt comfortable and encountered no trouble with anything. Trudi even accommodated our request for early check in and late check out. Great location in a beautiful city!

Wonderful flat – would stay again

An amazing apartment, very spacious, very well located in Edinburgh and has all the amenities for a comfortable stay.

The flat is in a great position walkable to nearly everything you want to do in Edinburgh. It was beautifully clean , well equipped, probably recently decorated but maintaining the beautiful elegance of high ceilings, window shutters and large rooms.
You do overlook a main road so a certain amount of traffic noise is inevitable, so probably not the place for cosy nights in front of the tv and if the noise bothers you at night / early morning a trip to Boots for a pair of earplugs is all you need .

We loved this flat. Perfect and spacious for our family of 4. It was a great location, close to everything and yet not on a super busy block. Everything was very comfortable. We walked everywhere. Wish we could have stayed longer than 3 nights!

This flat was our favorite during our trip! I was surprised how much room there was, and with such high ceilings. Felt pretty luxurious. It was also very well-stocked and an overall comfortable place to stay. Definitely recommended!

This flat really is as marvellous as it looks. The location is fantastic – very central – but equally very quiet at night; we both slept really well. The apartment itself is really luxurious, with large, well appointed rooms all of which are spotlessly clean. We also really appreciated the two bathrooms.
Communication was excellent throughout with a very good on-line Welcome Pack.
I would thoroughly recommend for a city centre stay and would love to come back myself at some point.

Overall I was very disappointed in this unit. While many of the problems were brought to Trudi’s attention (panties from previous guest hanging behind bedroom door, dirty clothes in a dresser drawer, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, lint trap in dryer clogged with lint, etc.) with Trudi responding right away to resolve them, these were basic housekeeping/maintenance issues that should have been handled before we checked in. I wasted the better part of a day waiting for the issues to be rectified. Trudi brought flowers, chocolates and champagne for our trouble and offered a discount at another rental she handles, we would have much preferred a clean and comfortable unit instead. While the location is good, we wouldn’t book this unit again nor would we recommend it to family and/or friends.

A beautiful apartment in a superbe location. Clean, bright and extremely comfortable, with excellent facilities. The only drawback was the entrance to the shower was too difficult for my husband to negotiate post hip replacement, but
would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.
