Position: Business Administrator

Hours: 20 hours per week.

Preferred working hours are 1pm to 5pm Monday to Friday, with occasional hours substituted at week-ends (maximum once per month).

Carfrae Farm is a small family business based in East Lothian near Gifford and has three 4 star self-catering holiday cottages and a farm shop launching in Spring.

We are looking for a Business Administrator to join our excellent team in continuing our high standards for our guests and customers. The successful applicant must enjoy working outside as well as in an office. Experience of working in the hospitality or retail industry is preferred although training can be provided. The role involves maintaining the smooth running of the office and the online shop.  While the role is largely office based it also involves being out in all conditions checking the shop and the cottages & their gardens are perfect for customers & guests arriving.  You must fit into our existing family team, while also being able to act as an effective support in our business and work independently.

Excellent time management skills are required.

Own transport is essential.
